Mia Babalis is a Los Angeles-based artist residing in Santa Monica, CA. Her work spans painting, sculpture, and installation, delving into the transient and ephemeral nature of life. Before embarking on her journey as a visual artist, Mia enjoyed a long career as a modern dancer in New York, receiving critical acclaim performing in the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble, Ballet Hispanico of New York, Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project, and the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company.
